GARLAND – The body of a missing man, Tran Cuong, 28, was recovered in about six feet of water from Lake Ray Hubbard about 9:55 pm Sunday by park officers and game wardens.
He was swimming in the lake near but reported missing, police said, around 6:45 pm in the 550 block of Locust Grove Rd., which is near Wind Surf Park.
His death is being investigated as an accidental drowning, according to officials.
It was the first drowning of the year at Lake Ray Hubbard.
