ROCKWALL – Local media coverage has led to the identification and arrest of two suspects who are charged with committing a robbery at the Zale’s Jewelry Outlet Store Tuesday afternoon in the Plaza at Rockwall shopping center, where Dick’s Sporting Goods and JCPenney are located.
James Glen Wallace, 31, and Clayton Michael Duckworth, 20, were located in Dallas Friday evening by the United States Marshals Service and the Texas Rangers.
According RPD Public Information Officer Aaron McGrew, the suspects were identified after someone came forward after watching TV broadcast coverage.
“But with technology, social media, print media, and all other forms, the cumulative effort of all those organizations helped to get the word out about these guys,” he wrote to The Rockwall News.
After both suspects were arrested, they were transported to the Collin County Jail and then to the Rockwall County Jail. They are awaiting a hearing.
The men were also suspected in a similar robbery in Sherman, just days earlier.
No other details are available at this time.
